Abstract EN

This study dealt with the search for the rule of electronic games and their competitions, in the Islamic Ruling.

The study concluded that the electronic games are permissible by Islamic legislation with restrictions in which are free of taboos, such as uncovering Awrah, and playing with anything which has a forbidden text such as playing with dice, and wasting time or extorting money, Also, they are permissible if the competitions are free and without betting.

But if there is a betting, between two or more people above the electronic games or in the shops of these games, the games will be forbidden because the betting is forbidden in Islamic legislation and does not benefit to the Islamic Ummah.

But if the owner of the shop paid, they would be permissible, because the Fuqaha have agreed that it is permissible to do.

In otherwise, the competitions of designing, programming and manufacturing and on the contrary, they are permissible by Islamic legislation, because they keep pace with scientific and technical development, and positively affect the Islamic nation.
