Abstract EN

The objective of this study is to study and analyze the effect of economic openness in monetary policy in Algeria during the period 1990-2015.

A number of variables have been used in accordance with the reality of the Algerian economy and empirical studies and based on the self-regression methodology of the ARDL through the Eviews 9 program.

The study concluded that there is a relationship between the variables in the short and long term.

It also recommended that the gradual and appropriate timing should be taken into account in the formulation of any policy of economic openness, in addition to the need to diversify sources of income and reduce excessive dependence on hydrocarbon revenues.
