Abstract EN

There are several forms of cooperative relations between organizations, which vary according to the nature of the contract.

This article deals with one type of these relationships, the outsourcing, which is an important strategic subject that caught the attention of many managers, consultants and researchers.

Since the last decade, the outsourcing is considered as a way to take some benefits such as improving corporate performance, reducing costs and increasing flexibility.

In addition, in the long term, it is looked at this phenomenon as an essential strategic choice since it leaves the enterprise focus on its “real metier” and redefine its borders.

In the opposite, the strategic nature of this option (outsourcing) raises the degree of its risk, therefore, organizations should be able to put the necessary mechanisms to evaluate the outsourcing decisions and its risk management.
