The present research aimes to: 1.

Identify the behavioral characteristics levels according to standard scores.

2.

Know if behavioral characteristics of gifted students differentiate according to gender and specialty and the interaction between the variables, through answering the following question:-  Is there an effect of the gender( males- females) and specialty ( scientific-- literature)of the college students behavioral characteristics dimensions .

 Is there an effect for the interaction between gender and specialty of behavioral characteristics with its dimension for the college students.

Behavioral characteristics scale for the gifted students was adopted, and consisting of (45) items, and applied to a sample of(537) students and results revealed:- 1.

The percentage of students who has high degree of behavioral characteristics was(15.3%), while the lower degree of behavioral characteristics was(14.3%),and the medium degree was(70.4%) of college students.

There were no statistically significant differences according to gender and specialty on the cognitive dimension of college students.

There were no statistically significant differences according to gender and specialty on the motive dimension.

4.

There were no statistically significant differences according to gender and specialty on the emotional dimension.

5.

There were statistically significant differences according to gender and no statistically significant according to specialty variable on performance dimension.

6.

There were statistically significant differences according to gender and no statistically significant according to specialty variable environmental dimension.

7.

Also research revealed, there was no interaction between gender and specialty on behavioral characteristics with all dimension of college students.

The research presented some of recommendations and suggestions.
