The aim of this study was to unveil the level of considering the moral values in the books of civic education for the higher elementary educational level in Jordan, and through analyzing the contents of the aforementioned books.

with the view to achieving these objects the researcher had developed an analytical and measurement tool adopted thirty-six values.

and that tool was examined by a committee of competent arbitrators to insure the accuracy of its measurements, the sentence, idea and meaning were identified as an analysis unit, the results of the study has revealed the consistent of the moral values with different levels in the books of civic education for the higher elementary educational level (eighth, ninth.

Tenth)in Jordan ,where the value of cooperation for the common good ranked the first of (30) recurrences repeatedly with a proportion of (10.03), while the value of appreciation of the role of national institutions ranked the second of (24) times of recurrences with a proportion of (8.02) however and as for taking pride in national identity ranked the third of (19) times repeatedly with a proportion of (6.35) also the majority of moral values came with a low rate which was less than (3.34) except for hygiene and sanitation value, the appreciation of handicrafts workers , helping the needy persons, the appreciation of the role of the army and public security, national loyalty came with a medium ratio, the results also revealed that the book of ninth grade ranked the first in the total of repetition where its total amounted to (299) times while the share of eighth grade book mounted to (127) recurrences whereas the second level was scored by the tenth grade of elementary education by (97) recurrences the book of eighth level of elementary education ranked the third and mounted to (75) recurrences.

The study recommended perfuming further studies to learn the moral values in the books of different educational levels.
