Abstract EN

Work and Organizational Psychology had been considered as one of the most important Psychology branches since decades in developed countries.

Different economic organizations in these countries had early discovered the usefulness of what this filed can provide as services and as skilled human resources, which can participate in their development and profit making.

As a consequence, universities invest in this specialty and take care of it.

However in Algeria, in the near-total rupture between university and community, especially economics organizations; this scientific specialty is marginalized.

Besides it is unknown or ignored often unintentionally by the organizations; workers and learners in the other branches of Psychology consider Work and Organizational Psychology a low ranked specialty, and thus most of Psychology students avoid choosing this specialty.

We believe that correcting this situation is the responsibility of the teachers and researchers in this field; therefore, we aim through this paper to propose and discuss a model (developed by a research team: Benzeroual, Kerbouche, Khellassi &Kadri ) that can explain how we can develop this specialty by developing the training quality, and making it connected to community needs.
