Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the degree of using multimedia and its importance and benefits use in the academic aspect by students of instructional technology.

This study is based on the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire was applied to obtain data.

While its sample consisted of (73) male and female students of instructional technology at Jadara University in Irbid Governorate.

Then, the results showed a medium degree of multimedia use in the academic aspect by students of instructional technology at Jadara University.

The most important of these was the use of multimedia to invite students of instructional technology to interact with a particular video lesson, and to exchange information about the subject.

In addition, the results showed a medium degree of importance and benefits of using multimedia by the participants mostly important that multimedia addresses traditional learning deficiencies and offers many educational services to students of instructional technology.

The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of using multimedia due to (gender and school year) variables.

The researcher therefore recommended the need to employ multimedia at university education, to develop and design software applications, covering university subjects.
