Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to monitor the views of the various universities across the national territory regarding the extent to which our institutions are practicing the NCATE standards of: programs, assessment and evaluation system, field experience, diversity, faculty members, resources and governance.

, And related to the quality of the performance of the university professor for the role entrusted to him, through a field study on a sample of (79) individuals, randomly selected from the faculties of social sciences in some Algerian universities: ElOued, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Ouargla.

By following the steps of the descriptive approach and adapting the scale of quality assessment of university programs according to the NCATE standards for Salman and others (2018) and the quality measure of university performance for Labana (2011).

The results showed: The existence of a strong and positive correlation between the degree of the practice of our universities to the standards (NCATE) quality and quality of the performance of the university professor, There are no statistically significant differences between the teachers as men or women estimates of the extent to which our institutions have practiced the NCATE standards for quality and of the quality of the university professor's performance.
