This paper aims to study the disparity in the distribution of national income in Algeria during the period 2000-2017, which relates to the functional income distribution and the personal income distribution.
The study showed through the Gini coefficient and the Lorenz curve that there was a disparity in the distribution of national income during 2000-2017.
However, this disparity was not so severe, as the authorities solved this problem by using two important financial policy instruments.
It is concerned with raising the expenses of social transfers and the tax instrument.
