The research aimed to study the electronic government in Algeria through the study of the reality of implimentation according to international indexes, also working on determine the challenges and searching the important activation requirements, the research has reached that the position of elecronic government in Algeria is late internationaly and in the area, because of low telecomunication infrastructure and limited electronic services presented, also the non qualified categorie of comunity for the use, so it is important to provide a set of requirements, as the support of political leadership, clear vision, suffisant coordination, spread elecronic learning , also diversification of elecronic services presented witch will help the activation process.
