Emotional intelligence is one of the most important topics that have emerged recently.

It has attracted great attention by researchers because it has a clear and necessary effect on the lives of individuals within the organization (in terms of their personality, thinking and social interactions).

The compatibility between emotion and thought, Mindfulness is an important indicator in providing the opportunity to learn about the different aspects of psychological life and all that is going on in the working people.

Emotional intelligence in this sense plays a major role in deciphering the ambiguity of working relationships and understanding correctly in a flexible and realistic manner for all mental and psychological functions of the individuals with whom we work.

Therefore, this paper came to identify the emotional intelligence in a sample of workers in the Directorate of Regional Industrial – Skikda.
