This study aims at highlighting the effect of the exchange rate on the commercial profitability of enterprises as a means of settling foreign economic transactions.

A number of standard methods have been used to help study the phenomenon in the short and long term.

The study concluded that there is a negative impact of the change in the exchange rate on the economic profitability of the economic institution in the long and short term.Which requires the institution to cover the exchange rate to avoid expected volatility.
