Road safety is one of the basic conditions to ensuring the securiting of commercial and religious caravans, especially since the central Maghreb experienced difficult political and economic conditions in the 7th and 9th AH / 13th and 15th centuries of ours era, thus contributing to the propagation of certain social phenomena that have strongly influenced the daily life of the population; The most important of these phenomena, the banditism that threatened the lives of people and their properties, In this effect, we will attempt to identify this phenomenon and track the extent of its spread by explaining and analyzing its impact on the caravans, and know the reactions of the Authority, traders and pilgrims, and the measures taken to reduce this phenomenon and cope with the risks.
