Our article proposes an analytical study of epilinguistic discourses from a sociolinguistic perspective in the different cities of in the west of Algeria.

It is an urban sociolinguistic survey conducted in the field to study epilinguistic discourse on linguistic plurality and identity dynamismin the era of economic openness.

We aim more specifically to study and define the sociolinguistic characteristics of the interviewees' judgments on the different languages of the posters in the urban area in the west of Algeria.
