Recently, there has been an increasing trend towards joint ventures and cooperation agreements, which offer companies opportunities to improve their communications and develop their relational networks.

they also allow them to globalize their operations and, as a result, reduce risks to the lowest possible level.

the aim of this study is to undertake an analysis of the state of the joint venture and its repercussions, in particular, on the mechanical engineering sector in Algeria in terms of the performance and competitiveness of the subcontracting SME.

the latter form a support for the strategy of economic growth privileged in recent years by the government.
