Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the impact of application of strategic management pattern on the financial sustainability of microfinance institutions in Khartoum State.

The study depended on the questionnaire as a main source for primary data collection, besides using the SPSS program in its data processing and analyzing.

The study indicated the existence of a positive relationship between the application of strategic management and both financial sustainability, and the whole outreach dimensions.

Moreover, it indicated that outreash has a strong effect on financial selfsufficiency; alternatively, it has a minor effect on operational self-sufficiency.

In addition, it showed that outreach is mediating the relationship between the applications of strategic management and financial sustainability.

The study main recommendations call for the management of microfinance institutions to pay more attention for the participation of all their employees at all levels in the implementation of strategic management, and developing the outreach dimensions particularly its weakest link, which is the depth of outreach.
