Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to test the role of the intellectual capital on competitive advantage, a case study on industrial food companies in Khartoum State.

The study adopted the descriptive analytical method, whereas the questionnaire had been considered as the main tool for data collection from a non-probability sample.

Accordingly, 360 questionnaires were distributed for industrial food companies in Khartoum state, while the retrieve rate amounted to (83.3%).

in order to achieve the objectives of the study, previous studies were used to construct the study model, as well as to develop its hypotheses.

The data were statistically analyzed using (AMOS v25), and the model reliability was checked through using Alpha Chronbach test.

The study most important results include the existence of a relationship between relational capital and competitive advantage.

Moreover, a negative relationship exists between (human capital, structural capital) and competitive advantage.

The results were discussed and compared with the previous studies; and recommendations and certain proposals are given for the future studies .
