The study aimed at determining the level of possession of the first three classroom teachers in Bani Kenana Directorate of the Educational proficiency's skills.
The study sample consisted of (176) teachers, (99) males and (77) females, who were randomly selected.
cognitive test that included (33) items distributed over three cognitive skills:planning skills, classroom management skills and assessment skills was developed.
To answer the questions of the study, the two researchers used different statistical methods.
The result of the study revealed that the cognitive component of the educational proficiencies gathered was moderate.
The study also indicated the presence of statistically significant difference at the level of (0,05= a) between the two means for the performance of the study sample on the cognitive component for the Educational proficiencies due to sex variable in favor of females and years experience (from 10 years and above).
There are no statistical significant differences between the means of the performance of the study sample on each proficiency of the cognitive component attributed to the binary interaction between the two variables:- gender and years of experience.
The study recommended that training and preparation are necessary for the first three classroom teachers, and focus on teachers with less experiences.
