This study aims at shedding light on the experience of the Emir of the Believers Ali bin Abi Talib in addressing the phenomenon of atonement at the Kharijites and restoring it from the memory of our Islamic nation to our contemporary consciousness in order to re-activate it as a valid, For two main reasons: 1.

The phenomenon of atonement that tore the body of the Islamic Ummah is the first heresy and sedition in Islam, that is, it is the source of many of the doctrinal and intellectual deviations that the nation suffered over fourteen centuries.

The one who deals with the phenomenon of atonement is one of the best of all centuries.

He was taught by the Prophet, and he lived a gift.

Thus, the manner in which the Commander of the Believers Ali bin Abi Talib treated him is a valid model.

To develop awareness and inspiration, and weaving as much as possible to immunize itself against the spread of this phenomenon in the present and future.

In light of this perception, the study follows the analytical descriptive method, in monitoring the manifestations of this phenomenon during the reign of the fourth Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib.

Then, he was forced to explain the major joints of how the faithful of Ali bin Abi Talib treated this phenomenon.

The study consists of the introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion.

The introduction defines the boundaries of the study, its methodology, and its division.

The ablution is a brief definition of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib.

The first topic deals with the phenomenon of atonement at the Kharijites through the statement of the concept of takfir, its origin, and its ruling, as well as the emergence of the Kharijis and the development of their thinking during the era of the Emir of the Believers Ali bin Abi Talib.

The second topic deals with the intellectual and practical treatments of the phenomenon of atonement at the time of the faithful Ali bin Abi Talib.

The conclusion emphasizes the persistence of the nature of the phenomenon and its roots and causes, and concludes, therefore, that the experience of the Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib in this regard of unlimited value, and the closer and more able to survive and revive and simulated.
