The interview is an important and effective tool in the social research used by researchers in obtaining the necessary data to understand the phenomena and social and educational problems.

The talk about the techniques of conducting and the success of the interview was present in most books specialized in research methodology.

However, in my experience as a supervisor and evaluater of many of these and dissertations at the Algerian university, I have also noted a clear weakness and lack of evidence in the analysis of interview data.

For this purpose, this article provides methodological guidance on thematic analysis of interviews in social sciences.
