The radical changes that have affected the health policy in Algeria have affected the health sector and this is due to the political and economic conditions and demographic indicators of the country.

the Algerian state has endeavored to improve the health status of citizens.

the best proof of this is the application of the principle of free treatment, the latter of which was behind a new division of the field by creating health sectors in accordance with the decree of February 1973.

in order to ensure the good health of the population and each department was chosen to be at the head of a certain number of municipalities as the headquarters of the health sector has been followed by Algeria this division in order to bring together different health structures of the population and facilitate the work of these structures.

the health sector has become the basic structure regulating health activities, which is the main focus of the distribution of treatment.

each health sector is concentrated around a hospital, has health facilities and enjoys independent management.

depending on the health map, we can tell the true number of diseases in Algeria.

in this intervention we try to address the diseases prevalent in Algeria and compare them with the pastyears.
