The purpose of this paper is to interesting the difficulties facing the teaching staff under the LMD system adopted by Algeria in the series of reforms that took place in the Algerian university, to promote the higher education sector and scientific research, trying to link it with the institutions of society to meet the development needs, where the latter needs the outputs of higher education from qualified human resources and able to lead the development of society.
due to the economic, social and technological changes that have taken place in the world, the change in the goals of higher education has to be made in the service of society, however, through the turning point of the Algerian university, which faced several obstacles, which leads us to ask the following question: what are the most important obstacles facing the task of teaching in the light of the system of LMD?
