The study’s subject: The efficiency of a guiding, collective program that relies on the theory of the rational, sentimental cure in limiting the level of future anxiety on a sample of students of Shaqra University.
The study’s goal: Knowing the efficiency of a guiding, collective program that relies on the theory of the rational, sentimental in lowering future anxiety on a sample of student from Shaqra University in the Riyadh province.
The study’s sample: the study’s sample consisted of (24) students from Shaqra University, (12) of them represent the experimental sample and (12) represent the control sample.
The study’s tools: the researcher used the following tools: - The future anxiety measurer, made by the researcher.
- The guiding program, made by the researcher, The statistic methods: the researcher used the following methods: - Mann and Whient’s test (U) - Wilcoxo’s test (W) The study’s hypothesis: - Differences that have statistic indication exist in the average grades of the experimental and the control group.
- Differences that have statistic indication exist in the average grades of the individuals of the experimental and the control group on the scale of the future anxiety (the subsidiary dimensions and the collective grade) in the previous and the posterior measurement.
- There are no differences that contain statistic indication in the average of the individuals’ grades of the experimental and the control group (subsidiary dimensions and the collective grade) in the posterior and the follow-up measurements.
The study’s results: - There are differences that contain statistics indications between the average of the experimental and the control group on the scale of future anxiety between the previous measurement and posterior measurement in favor of the experimental group.
- There are differences that contain statistic indications amongst the individuals of the experimental group on the scale of future anxiety (the subsidiary dimensions and the collective grade) in the previous and the posterior measurements in favor of the posterior measurement.
- There are no differences that contain statistic indication in the average of the grades of the individuals of the experimental and the control group on the scale of future anxiety (the subsidiary dimensions and the collective grade) in the posterior and the follow-up measurements.
The study’s recommendations: - Activating the protective aspect from the schools’ counsellors about preventing the students from reaching high levels of future anxiety.
- Guiding the parents to the necessity of reassuring and anxiety should not spread in the children’s souls.
- The necessity of helping the students in choosing the right major that relates to their abilities and their orientations.
- Providing the students in high school with the fields available to them after graduating high school.
