Abstract EN

The current research aims to reach a plan for a textile unit at king Feisal university to activate the requirements of community participation advocated by the university in its mission and strategic objectives.

This is done by defining the conceptual framework for community participation in universities and the most important requirements.

In the light of the philosophy of community participation and its requirements, to achieve the research goal, used the descriptive approach and the questionnaire to collect the required data and information required, where the study community of all members of teaching staff the total number of 2019 teaching staff, including 1236 males and 783 females.

The two researchers chose a random sample of the study population of (187).

The research results showed that the king Feisal university is in need to a textile unite to strengthen its associated function with community participation, finally the research presented a suggested for a plan textile unit at the king Faisal University.
