In view of the developments in the field of information and communication technology, and in keeping with this new trend and in keeping with the TRIPS Agreement that Algeria seeks to join, the Algerian legislator has adapted its legal system to the requirements of accession to this Convention In order to do so, he introduced new images that were not previously known in the Algerian legislation in the field of industrial property.

He also made fundamental amendments and replaced some of the previous texts with new texts, as in the case of the patent organized by Order 03-07 and its decree Executive No.

05-275 of 20 August 2005, which defines the modalities of the filing of patents and their amended and completed version.
