Abstract EN

The energy sector is a strategic sector that plays a very important role in development.

The achievement of economic and social development is closely linked to the availability of sufficient energy resources whose consumption has increased sharply due to changes in various fields.

This has led to the appearance of many environmental problems emanating from its methods of production and consumption, hence, energy becomes one of the obstacles facing the durability development because of its close relationship with the different dimensions of energy.

As such, we will try in this work to study the role of energy in achieving sustainable development in Algeria through the analysis of different indicators and developing econometric models in order to streamline future decisions in this matter.
