The language dictionary is a guide used to find the definition of difficult words .
The words of the Arabic language are constantly increasing.
Making the modern Arabic dictionary open to all linguistic levels to achieve the needs of its users.
In this paper, we will address the issue of linguistic levels in the modern Arabic lexicon, by extrapolating the "contemporary Arabic dictionary" in order to identify the most important problems related to this issue.
