Abstract EN

The variables related to the complex social and ethno-identity dynamics influenced the socio-political structure of the state in Africa, especially the role of colonialism, which created the relations of social change with political change, this influenced the re-shaping of the relationship between the state and society through the politicization of ethnicity and social relations.

The process was a reflection of the various neo-patrimonial and patronizing authoritarian practices in the internal interactive field between the power and society mechanisms that produced deep and complex disjointed relationship that led to the emergence of the state crisis in Africa.The study aims analyzing the pattern of interaction between the problem of ethnicity and identity as a independent variable that affects the failure of the state in Africa,the emergence of the state crisis as a dependent variable to be interpreted on the one hand.

And on the other hand,an analysis of the value structure of ethnic division inherent in the identity of the state in Africa,which emerges in the context of ethno-identity violence and a national identity crisis in exchange for an ethnic identity linked to the collective memory of the post-traumatic societies in Africa.
