The purpose of this study was to estimate the impact of public spending on human development in Algeria for the period 2000-2015, this by adopting the rate of education accomplishment in primary school to the total of age group as an indicator of education, life expectancy at birth as an indicator of health, and by using the vector of auto-regression VAR.
The study concluded that, the public spending has a positive effect on the education indicator.
This clarifies the efficiency of expansionary financial policy, and has a weak positive effect on health indicator due to high costs of medical devices.
