Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to determine to which extent the managers of these companies (Naftal, Sonalgaz, Mezoughi and Etosa) are aware of the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on careers and what are the needed skills in the field of digital economy.

The results showed that the managers of sample companies are fully attentive to the importance of digital economy and expects changes in line of businesses and methods of work in the future.

They are expecting skilled competencies able to organize and pilot changes within team spirit; in addition, training must be taken into account because is the first requirement for companies to obtain the required skills.
