Abstract EN

This paper is an attempt to understand the relationship between divorce and family disintegration in the Algerian society.

The latter witnessed societal changes of multiple dimensions that had repercussions on all social construction patterns.

As the family was one of the most important pillars of this building, it was one of the recipients of these effects.

This change has led to imbalance in construction and function.

The occurrence of the tension and conflict and the prospect of disintegration within families, whether it was paial or total disintegration .

The research also aims to study the effects of divorce on the social and psychological for children
