Abstract EN

Almuhidu is a woman who is mourning her dead husband and is therefore commanded to abstain from adornment of her body and clothing.

Jurists have clarified what a Muhidu should abstain from; however, there are many modern cosmetic products nowadays, some of which did not exist at the time of the old scholars, and some went through some upgrading, therefore, there is a need to clarify the ruling concerning their use.

There are many types of creams, powders and dyes that women use today.

In addition, there are ways in which social media can be relevant to what women are prevented from, such as responding to messages during the course of "Oddah", which can urge her desire to marry.

This research aims at showing the ruling of modern cosmetics and means of communication.

The research includes preliminaries, and four subtopics: One: Novelties in Body Adornment that Almuhidu Must Avoid.

Two: Novelties in Clothing that Almuhidu Must Avoid.

Three: Novelties in Jewellery that Almuhidu Must Avoid.

Four: Novelties in communication that Almuhidu Must Avoid.
