Literary texts display many linguistic peculiarities that contain many cultural aspects which don’t exist necessary in the target language.

Translating literary texts is not an easy task, since it certainly poses many problems for the translator.

Thus, this paper presents a study on how to translate any peculiar cultural aspect by transforming it into what I suggest calling a cultural variable for it is a game changing element that facilitates the translation process through tracking the most important myths in the novel "Harry Potter and the goblet of fire" by the British writer Joan Kathleen Rowling and their translationability.
