Abstract EN

The study aims at identifying the relationship between the language of expression and the adaptive behavior of the mentally handicapped and those with learning disabilities and ordinary children.

The study consisted of (100) children (50) children with learning disabilities, (50) ordinary children between the ages of (7-11) years.

And applied the following tools: 1) The measure of expressive language (Preparation of the researcher).

2) Adaptive Behavior Scale (Preparation of the researcher).

The results of the study reached the following results: 1) There are differences between children with learning disabilities and normal children in their adaptive behavior.

2) There are differences between children with learning disabilities and ordinary children in their expressive language.

3) There is a relationship between the expressive language and the adaptive behavior of children with learning disabilities and ordinary children.
