Abstract EN

The study aimed to effectiveness of visual imagery in developing awareness of the habits of mind in teaching sociology for secondary stage students, the study sample consisted of(60)students, dividing it into two groups experimental group (30) students control group (30) students and, from El Zahraa secondry girls school of Ain Shams Educational Department of the same level of socio-economic, culture, and applied a achievement test to assess the cognitive aspect of the habits of mind through sociology (prepared by the researcher), applied a behavioral test to assess the behavioral aspect of the habits of mind(prepared by the researcher), applied a tendency measure to assess the emotional aspect of the habits of mind (prepared by the researcher).

The results showed a statistically significant effectiveness of visual imagery in developing awareness of the habits of mind.
