Abstract EN

Organization of the research: Girls College Ain Shams University.

Aimed to: Detection of the relationship between marital compatibility and psychological hardness, empathy and strategy of confrontation .

study sample The current sample of the research group consisted of (50) university students from Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Sohag University for the academic year 2018-2017,and descriptive research group consisted of (50) from Ain Shams University, Cairo University, Sohag University Student.

Researcher used the following tools: 1-Psychoiogical Hardiness scale (prepared by Emad Mohamed Ahmed Mekhemar 2015).

2- Empathy scale (researcher preparation).

3- Symmetry scale (researcher preparation).

4- Strategy of the confrontation strategy (prepared by Intsar Ali Mahran, 2016).

5- A measure of marital compatibility (prepared by Adel Ezzeddin Ashool 1994).

The results have resulted in: On the existence of a correlation between marital compatibility, psychological Hardiness, empathy and coping strategies of university students.
