Abstract EN

The present study aimed at investigating the relation between Social- intelligence and perceptive self -efficacy for preparatory school students in Jordan.

A sample of the study consisted of (320) preparatory students divided into (135) (boys, girls) at 6th grade and (185) (boys, girls) at 9th grade in Jordan.

The researchers used two instrument: the perceived competence scale (Harter) 2009, and social intelligence test (2005).

The finding of the study revealed that there is a significant correlative relation between the social intelligence and self-efficacy for preparatory school students of the treatment.

The finding of the study revealed that there are statistically significant differences on the social intelligences due to social type favoring boy, also the finding revealed statistically significant differences on perceptive self -efficacy due to the social type favoring boy.

The study revealed that the level of self-efficacy was high, while the level of student on the social intelligence scale was moderate.
