Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the level of domestic climate according to the estimate of the third year of the secondary grade in Damascus City,and the level of social self-efficacy with the sample of secondary school students in the schools of Damascus.

It also aimed to study the correlational relationship between the family and the effectiveness of the social climate of the self, and the significance of statistical differences among the search sample on the domestic climate scale and the scale of academic self-efficacy according to the variables of research: (sex, educational level of parents).

The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method.The sample consisted of (486) students from the third secondary year students in the schools of Damascus, and the researcher applying domestic climate measure, and the measure of social selfefficacy.

The study found the following results: 1.

There were positive correlational relationship between the family climate and the effectiveness of the social self of the research sample 2.

There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample on the domestic climate variable scale according to the sex variable.

3.

There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample on the scale of domestic climate variable according to the educational level of the parents in favour of the students who had the educational level of their parents (college degree or higher).

4.

There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample on the social self-efficacy scale according to the sex variable in favor of male students.

5.

There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample on the social self-efficacy scale according to the educational level of the parents variable in favour of the students who had the educational level of their parents (college degree or higher).
