Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to identify the impact of organizational commitment on the performance of employees in library and information technology solutions companies. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method in his field method through surveying and analyzing the literature of the subject available from primary and secondary sources, with the aim of identifying the results of researches and studies in this field in order to draw a general framework through the preparation of a questionnaire consisted of two parts. The second: It includes the axes of organizational commitment dimensions (emotional, continuity, normative) and performance axes of workers dimensions (quality of work, workload, knowledge of job requirements). Regarding the reality of organizational commitment in the library and information technology solutions companies, it contained (36) paragraphs and verified its validity and consistency. The sample of the study was randomly selected from the employees of the library and information technology solutions companies. In this regard, the study reached a number of results, including: First: Regarding the paragraphs of organizational commitment: .1The paragraph "I will be very happy to complete my career in the company I work for" within the paragraphs of the field of emotional commitment in the first place with an average (3.79) .2The paragraph "I accept any work assigned to the company in order to ensure the continuity of my work" within the paragraphs of the area of continuing commitment in the first place with an average of (3.78) .3The paragraph “I owe the company I work for because of the many privileges it offers me” in the paragraphs of the standard commitment area in the first place with an average of (3.77) Second: Concerning the performance paragraphs of the employees: .1The paragraph "The tasks are accomplished in the company accurately and with the lowest error rate" within the paragraphs of the field of quality of work in the first place with an average of (3.75) .2The “I accomplish my tasks on time” and “I get my work done very quickly” are included in the volume of work in the first place with an average of (3.77) .3The two paragraphs, "Knowing the requirements and functions of my job" and "I have full knowledge of the policies of the company's work" within the paragraphs of the field of knowledge and compliance with the requirements of the job ranked first with an average of (3.79) .4The study also found that there are no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of the organizational commitment dimensions (emotional, continuity and normative, and the dimensions of workers performance (quality of work, workload, commitment and knowledge of job requirements) due to the variables of gender, experience and educational qualification. The researcher recommended at the end of the study a set of recommendations, which can contribute to increase the rate of commitment Organizational and raise the performance of employees of library solutions and information technology companies.
