معيقات استخدام استراتيجيات التدريس الحديثة لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في أقسام الدراسات الإسلامية بالجامعات السعودية من وجهة نظرهم

Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the obstacles that prevent faculty members from using modern teaching strategies in the departments of Islamic studies in Saudi universities, in addition to verify the existence of statistically significant differences within the causes of these obstacles that are attributed to the variables of gender, the university where a faculty member work, the academic rank, the number of training courses and the number of years of experience.

The researcher used the descriptive Approach and employed the questionnaire as a tool for data collection.

The validity and reliability of this tool have been confirmed.

And it was applied to a sample of 261 faculty members at four universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, King Saud University, Satam University, Al-Qassim University) at the Islamic studies departments for the academic year 1436 / 1437 AH.

The study found several results the most important of which include the following: the obstacle of "the multiplicity of the faculty member tasks,” came in the first place among the phrases related to the obstacles facing the faculty member, and with the degree of “agree”,.

As well as the obstacle of “the large number of students in classrooms,” came in the first place among the phrases related to the obstacles associated with to the institution, and with the degree of “agree”.

As for the obstacles related to training courses, the obstacles of “the specialization of the faculty member is not taken into account during the training," came in the first place among the phrases related to the obstacles associated with the training courses within the organization, and with the degree of “agree”.

The researcher concluded the study and provided some recommendations and proposals.
