Abstract EN

This study aimed to detect Tension(p sychic) Headaches and its relation to self-abasement and Alexithymia in a sample of graduate students at King Abdulaziz University, it used the tension headache scale (psychological) that was set By: Zainab Shoqair (2003), self-harm scale by Zainab Shuqair (2006), the scale of alexithymia Prepared by: Aladdin Kafafi,( 2011), study sample contained of 82 post graduates of King Abdulaziz University, The Pearson correlation coefficient was also utilized in the study, Kronbach-alpha coefficient, iterations and percentages test (T-test) for two independent samples and the “One Way Anova” analysis for more than binocular independent, where it concluded to some results among of which are:There is a statistically significant correlation at 0.01 level between Tension(p sychic) Headaches as a whole and self-abasement as a whole, and both axes (physical abuse, (emotional and intellectual) harm, and self-deprivation).There is a statistically significant correlation at 0.01 level between the Tension(p sychic) Headaches and the scale of the Alexithymia (emotional dullness) as a whole, and both after (difficulty in identifying sensations, difficulty in describing sensations).

There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the mean responses of the subjects on the self-abasement in all its axes for variability of age, function.There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the respondents' average responses on self-negligence for the variability of the function variable, between (administrative-student) in favor of an administrative.

There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the respondents' mean averages about the total score of the self-abasement scale and its axes (physical abuse, self-deprivation), due to the difference of the marital status variable in favor of a single.There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the mean responses of the respondents about the total score of the Alexithymia scale in all its axes due to the difference of the age and function ,scientific qualification variable.There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the respondents' mean averages about the self-abasement in all axes of the Social status.
