Abstract EN
Linguistics studied the various fields of language in a way that sought to achieve scientific accuracy.
Moreover, pieces of research of General Linguistics tried to adjust the study rules in the study of terminology.
Terminologies of language, langue, speech, and the word, then the letter and phone took interesting areas.
This makes it one among the most difficult linguistic concepts, and this is due to the differing concepts, multiplicity of schools and references and different employment areas.
This study affords a conscious reading of the problem of the contrast of the concepts of these general basic linguistic terms.
In doing so, the study relied on the analytical descriptive method which is supported by comparison procedures, trying to answer the following question: If the traditional linguistic lesson suggested concepts of terms that have remained constant since the early days, what is the position of the modern phone lesson from those terms ?
