Abstract EN

There is an endeavour to study the Prophet's discourse in different knowledge fields, mainly humanities.

However, most of them lack theoretical foundation within a complementary perspective, aiming at studying the Prophet's discourse at the level of cognition and methodology.

There should be theoretical start point which will be a basis for discourse analysis.

The Prophet's discourse, being different in its essence, form, composition, degree of efficiency and dominance over its recipient, denotes some characteristics which go well with the conditions of its existence and reception.

Al-Jahiz, one of the Arab rhetoric theoreticians, founder of rhetorical discourse rules and conditions, and who set the basis for his theory on eloquence, describes the Prophet's discourse with scrutiny and considers it another type of Arabic rhetoric.
