Abstract EN

This study aims at pointing to the boundaries separating between intertextuality and the Interference of literary genres.

Its is only a matter of intertextuality when a novelist, opening up to other genres such as poetry, includes his text some stanzas taken from past texts, whether written by another or by the novelist.

Whereas intertextuality uses a previous text in the current one, the transference of literary genres is the procedure of recurring to other genres from the core of narration.

That's to say, using the example of poetry, the novelist writes his own stanzas or imitates the qualities of the poetic form.

Here, in transference, the presence of poetry is not linked to previous texts.

It's intrinsic.
