sinece the beginning of translation, especially in the current era, has evolved significantly and touched the way in which it works as well as the conditions in the world of translation have changed to make it different from what it was before, so we shall talk about the evolution of translation via computer in this paper.

There are different types of translations such as machine translation, computer assisted translation and human translation, and among the factors that gathered researches to turn to the computer is that it is a means that is characterized by high efficiency, high performance, speed of work and strong memory as well as the ability to meet the huge demand, enormous and accelerated translation of practical documents.

In this research, we dealt with machine translation and computer translation, and we used several fields directly related to translation.

One of the most important of these magazines was the media field.

Media and press translation have a great importance.

Machine translation in its current state is very helpless, but still it can help the translator who knows the two languages to review the translation and to put it in the proper format.

In addition, machine translation suffers a lot of problems, especially with regard to the Arabic language, there is no computerized Arabic dictionary that serves Arabic Language in machine translation to translate it to other languages, as well as the lack of Arabic texts translated to other languages through machine translation, which can be used as a linguistic stock that serves machine translation.

As for computer translation, the “Mémo Q” program was first launched in 2006 to be the first computer-assisted translation program.

Because of the ease of dealing with this program and the importance of what it offers to the translator, this program became among the most used program between the translators, as MEMO Q offers the translator a set of translation tools that make it easier for the translator to work, and these tools are set in one environment through which The translation is performed correctly.

The most important results of the study: 1.

Human intervention in machine translation was done after obtaining the translation, which is known as subsequent editing.

The human intervention within computer-assisted translation that we have adopted in this study was from the beginning to the end of translation.

2 - Machine translation can never replace the human translator, we have noticed how to deal with the texts and the number of errors committed by the Google translation program, as we introduced some semantic errors related to the meaning and others related to the structure of sentences and other by choosing the appropriate terms in the target language taking into account the use in appropriate context as well as the grammatical errors.

All these errors are due to the fact that, as we previously said, machine translation systems do not deal correctly with the natural language as the human translator.
