This paper investigates the effects of the natural resource abundance on prices in terms of inflation Dynamics- in Algeria, Using an annual dataset from 1980 to 2017 and employing a structural vector autoregressive (SVAR) model, This technique is considered an important in analyzing and addressing the variance decomposition and the impulse response functions and allows for more accurate and efficient results.

According to this, we have found the following results: - A positive structural shock at a rate 1% in the oil price will have a positive impact on the inflation in the most forecast periods.

- A positive structural shock at a rate 1% in the oil price will have a positive impact on all variables studied in short period Except for variable government stability.

Thus the nature of these effects is transmitted to domestic prices through four channels or what is known in the macroeconomic literature as the effect of pass-through, where its results translate into high inflation, which supports the views of advocates of the relative fulfillment of symptoms of Dutch Disease in the Algerian economy.
