يسعى هذا البحث لرصد جهود العرب المحدثين في مجال صناعة المعاجم المتخصصة؛ وذلك بالتركيز على حقل النحو العربي، إذ سيتم تعريف المعاجم النحوية، وبيان أصولها التراثية، واستعراض أهم أنواعها، تبعا لثلاثة معايير هي: الفئة المستهدفة، والمجال المعرفي، وعدد اللغات، بالإضافة إلى توضيح الأهداف التي تسعى هذه المصنفات لتحقيقها؛ سواء أكانت تعليمية، أم لغوية، أم ثقافية.

This research seeks to monitor Arab modernists efforts in the field of specialized lexicography; by focusing on Arabic grammar field, as will be defined grammar dictionaries, and the statement of assets heritage, and a review of the most important types, according to three criteria: the target group, and the field of knowledge, and the number of languages, in addition to clarify the objectives of these classifications seek to achieve them; whether they are educational, or linguistic, or cultural
