استخدام الإنترنت و تأثيره على العلاقات الاجتماعية لدى الشباب الجامعي : دراسة ميدانية

Abstract EN

This study aims at knowing the effect of using internet upon social relationships among university youth through investigating the opinions of a random sample of (325) students at Mutah University.

The study shows that the effect of internet upon social relationships increases when students use the internet individually and when they increase the number of hours.

Also, the results show that the internet has been used mostly for scientific and research purposes and on campus.

Furthermore, the results show an existing influence to the use of internet upon social relationships taking into consideration qualitative variables such as sex, age, college, level of study and the monthly income of the families of the students being asked ; this is shown by the value of (F) with a statistical significance of ≥ 0.05.

This study suggests a number of recommendations.
