This article aims to highlight the importance of relying on theories of behavioral finance when investing in the capital market, especially after it was able to explain the price distortions of financial assets by linking them to the psychological and social behavior of investors, which failed to explain the various traditional financial theories related to models of financial asset pricing and efficiency theory.

the study concludes with several results, the most important of which is the need to rely on the theory of behavioral finance before making a decision to invest in financial assets with a mechanism that complements the rest of traditional financial theories.
