The study aims at identifying the trends of the employees towards all types of leadership skills (technical skills, intellectual skills, human skills, self-skills) at Ghardaia University needed to manage organizational change and to know the relationship between leadership skills and organizational change management.
On the basis of collecting relevant data, a questionnaire was designed and distributed on a random sample of 126 out of 774 employees at university.
The results obtained showed that university employees found out that the officials of the university of Ghardaia practice leadership skills, but there is a variation in the impact of leadership skills on the application of the organizational change management.
There are statistically significant differences in the average of the opinions of Ghardaia University employees towards the organizational change management due to personal variables (sex, number of years of service), however, there are not statistically significant differences in the mean opinions of the study sample at Ghardaia University in terms of the organizational change management because of the personal variables (Age, academic qualification, and job).
